"Can OpenRAN Hit its Stride?"

By using software to tie together components from different suppliers, Open Radio Access Networks promise an end to vendor lock-in and its elevated pricing. Open RAN also offers a way out for security-minded policymakers leery of entrusting next-generation networks to Huawei’s stack. But for Open RAN to overthrow incumbents, its advocates have to address such issues as standardization of interfaces, this architecture’s scalability and its energy efficiency. Speakers at this panel will cover those points and more.
